Gladstone SES welcomes new members. Our training night is Wednesday and we meet from 7:30 PM for around 2 hours of training and socialising at the SES HQ, located on Lamington Drive, Gladstone.
SES is a great way to meet new people and get involved with the community. In return for your commitment and time, you will receive free training on topics such as First Aid, Working at Heights, Flood rescue, Incident Management, Communications etc, ready to help out community members in need. Once you have completed a probationary period, you will be issued with a set of distinctive orange uniform and personal protective equipment, again free of charge.
We also help with traffic control at events like Harbour Festival, Eco Fest, Relay For Life, Botanic To Bridge etc.
